The C10 Invited Event Participant Visa is the correct Indonesian visit visa when you are invited to join an official event — a conference, seminar, festival, cultural performance, lecture, presentation, or training session — in Bali or elsewhere in Indonesia.

Who Needs the C10 Visa?
Apply for C10 if you are invited to:
- Attend an official conference, summit, or seminar in Indonesia
- Speak, present, or give a lecture
- Deliver training or a workshop as an invited guest
- Perform at a festival, cultural show, or similar organised event
If you are only sightseeing, use a B1/B2 or C1 tourist visa. If you will volunteer, use the Volunteer Visa C6B. Remote work for an overseas employer needs the Digital Nomad Visa E33G.
C10 vs Tourist Visa
A tourist visa covers holidays and social visits. It does not correctly cover invited event participation when immigration expects a C10. Using the wrong visa for speaking, training, or performing can create problems at the border or during checks. When you have an Indonesian organiser invitation, C10 is the safe path.
Stay Duration and Extensions
- Initial stay: typically 60 days from entry
- Extensions: usually up to two extensions of 60 days each
- Maximum stay: up to about 180 days, depending on your invitation and current rules
- Application is online — no Indonesian embassy visit required for the eVisa
